* love and apples.

what went wrong.?

i was suddenly compelled to blog-hop today, after a seemingly long time. particularly to the blogs of _____'s friends. i rmb how naive they all used to be, and how i would offer my service congruent to Aunt Agony's. like i was a big sister to be shared.?

i suppose my presence back then was much welcome- since they would all vibrantly acknowledge me as _____'s sister when we crossed path in person. i really was popular among _____'s friends, haha.! of course i'd think of myself as the overbearing sister, excessively involved in my innocent adek's life and that i shall slap myself for that one day.

but now, im glad.

just like how i'm glad my parents have been actively involved in my life, as excessive as i may regard at times. haha. im truly thankful. =)

those friends of _____ are still as naive, i should say. except i'd sadly perceive them as dumb from this moment- of which i shall no longer be to any service as i would only come across as another naysayer to the misguided route they'd prefered for their life presently.

it is a sad thing altogether. how cheap teenagers define love. days of sweet talks and already 'i love you more than anything' when The boy cannot even stand up for The girl when The parents do intervene.

i am not at all against such relationships. i just dread how it depreciates one's values when they exit from it- or even how they allow themselves to be depreciated while in the relationship itself. how one new impermanent commitment to one another can disrupt bonds established through years of family love and friendship.

parents are suddenly the enemy when you're being denied the freedom to roam the streets at night, or friends are suddenly secondary in your life because you no longer have time for them.? sad, aint it?

my wiseoldman once asked if i know the boundary in a relationship between a guy and a girl. Islam never forbids us from interacting with the other gender- as classmates, schoolmates, workmates, etc etc.

i personally think debates about liberating women are ridiculous by simply looking at what women do to themselves when they are liberated.! haha. okay, that aside.

the boundary lies when emotions start emerging- because then, the devil is by your side. amusing as it may seem, i think i can relate to that. haha.

of course. this shall not be applicable to the rest of you. everyone is entitled to their own views ey.? so stick to yours.! =)

well anyway. back to my blog-hopping story.

i used to mock at aimah for having such friends, except that i wasnt entirely aware about the degree of the 'such'. considering the school she's in, i guess it is inevitable that such gejala sosial is widespread.

putting that into perspective- im now VERY proud of her for being so resistant to such influence.! i suppose it takes a lot of character to be opposing the norms. i was personally a conformist to my social circle in sec sch days- thank god my darlings dint gave me too much exposure in that area.

well, at least not until i get my own stance fixed. =)

so i dedicate this entry to my baby, AIMAH LOVE.! for being the apple of my eyes.! erps.? hahahaa. i'm always here for you.! for better or for worst, the latter probly my cause.? haha.!
YOU GO GIRL.! WHEE.

ouwh btw. yesty's family day was =)))).

for everything, and everything else,
syukur ALHAMDULILLAH.!

MUCHLOVE,

* end of the week.?

and and.

i cant upload all the photos from my hp.! =((
the frigging bluetooth here aint responding, grr.

we got an All-Girls Team photo right at the entrance of our enrolment hall today.! HEE.

ouwh. fyi. i doubt 500+ applicants really came today. hoho. nonetheless, today is definitely another pretty day at work.!

but saddd. wont be seeing them jobmates who arent extending their contract.! boo. and even sad.! my darlings taking day off tmr, so i've no morning walk sidekicks.! haha.

sinyi was SO nice to offer us nescafe after lunch- in case we feel like dozing off from scannig duties.! but she dint find the vending machine, haha.! funny lah she. VERY sweet person.!

eh. did i mention.? we've been getting free lunch through out the enrolment period. haha.!

OUWH. liyana is so nonsensical.! hahahaa. in an extremely good manner of course.! we learnt the degree of our comfort with each other today after zohor. EHEMS.
(liyana, thank me for not disclosing excessive info.! tempting tau.! hahaha.)

and nearing the end of the day. we made an interesting discovery relating to stg we've suppressed since day1. that shared sentiments supplied us with laughter throughout the whole walk home.! haha.

okay lah. enough of today's job.
i came across that sweet icecream lady on my home today.! so again, i bought some for my family, HEE.

and i spent the rest of the night talking to the family. laughing excessively too.! haha.
MUNI LOVE FAMILY.! =))
ouwh ouwh.! dad's workplace having family day this saturday, 22nd. so exciting.! looking forward to it.! whee.!

eh.! you know. i JUST got my pay from the Times job. super slow please. and with that measley pay, mendaki still deducted 2bucks from me.! HAHA.

and now. i ought to get ready for bed. eh.? haha. omg, i hope tmr will be fine. hoho.
alrighty then, im done.!

for everything and everything else,
syukur alhamdulillah.! =))

LOVE,
*MUNIRAH.

PS: and for the record. i HAVE done my uni application- ouwh dont ask please.!

* on the job, LOVE.!

Approx 11am.

Once again, im updating while at work.! Why.? Because I really have a LOT of time here.! We were told to expect the final 500+ applicants today (since its their last enrolment day) BUT the crowd is still ouwh-so-sparse.!

I know, I ought to be thankful that I'm paid for doing nothing.! EH NO, I AM doing something okay.! Just not relevant currently. Hahahaa.

Whatever it is, im SOO doing scanning duties after lunch- which means I can be oblivious about the crowd that is pending to flood Agora Hall 3 & 4.

Anyway. Remember how I kept insisting I loved the job at Times Centre.? Well, I LOVE this job at Republic Poly MUCH MUCH MORE.! Hahahaa.

From the rudiments of having to hear discerning remarks about the superiors (compliments too, definitely!), attending to students AND parents, collecting documents to the tedious task of scanning all the flimsy papers…

I should like to think that I prefer handling queries and conversing with people at Station II than to be stuck at the scanning department. Customer Service work is FUNNN- I seem to have a natural charm with the parents, HAHA.!

Well anyway. My colleagues are a GREAT bunch.! We don't run out of laughter. We can even blend in with the crowd since 7/11 of us just got our A's results- which means we're still possibly in the poly-going age.! Haha.

And after my devastating episode of A's release day, haha, this job is my perfect remedy.

To put it simply, I no longer wake up beating myself to the feeling of what-the-hell-have-I-been-doing in my two years of college study. Uhhuh. =))

Parents/Students actually enquire if im a student here. And when told I just got my A's results, common remarks kept being passed- usually revolving 'woah, you're smart.!' which is amusing altogether considering how ironic it is in comparison to my feeling about the degree of my smartness. Hoho.

Ouwh.! Even met some relatives here for enrolment.!

(PS: liyana just asked why am I writing one long essay. Haha.!)

Which reminds me.! I MUST blog about her. Haha.!
we were fidgeting with the laptop application yesty out of boredome, there's a vid camera.! Haha. RP is absolutely IT-savvy. I felt dumb on my first day. but scanning thousands of application is really retarding- we sought solace in commenting on names. haha.! SO MEAN.
so anyway. this was in the midst of scanning duties- i know we look spastic, but HAPPY OKAY.! haha.
MUNI LOVES NURLIYANA.! =))
(at the scanning dept.)
and let me just list all my job mates here, so I can refer to my blog if I bump into them years down the road and need to recall their names. HAHA.
Okay. AI XIN works with me.! She, I definitely cant forget lah.! Haha. Even Nabila works at RP too! (but diff department).

So i have... Ryan, Faizal, JiaYan, Hyrul, Steven, Wallace, and Kasim.

And and.! of course.! My two new LOVELY morning walks darling.! LIYANA and SIN YI.! Truly, my daily supply of happiness for the pass week lah.! I feel so comfortable with them, somehow. We could talk about everything and anything (even results.!) and I still feel sincerely happy inside.

(yes, that does mean I've not been feeling sincerely happy having results or uni application conversation with some other darlings- and im truly sorry about that. Explains why I've not been online much lately.? Heh.)

Well anyway.! Meet my RPJOB DARLINGS.! =))

in summary.
Liyana was from MJC and she's sucha darling. SinYi was formerly from SRJC and she’s sucha, well, darling too.! Haha. So basically, we came from all over the place. I'm very blessed to have met them. VERY thankful for that. Hee.

Okay then. I LOVE L & S.! =))

Today's supposed to be the last day of our initial contract. But my lovely Big Boss have asked to extend our service here- so I'm saved from feeling useless all the way till 5th April.! WHEE.

Ouwh no. the superior just called for us to cover the scanning dept while they head for lunch. So adios to this laptop.!

And eh, I love this job lah.! Much thanks to the dear jobmates.! =))

LOVE,
*MUNI.!

haha.

to all my darling friends anxious about that thing on the seventh- regardless the full A's cert or merely your H1 papers,
all the very best.!

catch them butterflies. have faith. and whatever happens, all smiles.! =))

everything will be jussst fine, insyallah.

* fblove,

visited my team again.!

hahahaa. fb really gets me euphoric, my source of adrenaline rush.! hee. all was good obviously. though im reallyyy filled with languor, so i'l try to be as summarised as possible.

HAHA, yeahh right.

well. let's start with the main compelling factor.

Coach Jamie was there.! he's still so sweet, as a coach. =)
i actually missed the way he spoke to the team- seriousness with tinges of humour, you know.? the J2s were chuckling at his remarks (myself included) while the new J1s looked as lost and petrified as ever. haha.!

new comers, cant blame them. they were in abundance lah.! i regretted not bringing my stick today, was slightly deprived. scarcity of resources, surprise.! haha. i reckon half of them will disappear in 2 weeks- from experience. hee.

my babies were in GREEN today- which helped me blend in with the freshies. they'v got a new training tee which says,

"IJ FLOORBALLER,
WATCH ME SCORE."

i watched for 1.5hrs, and not much scoring still. hahahaa. nice catchphrase lah, though a tad too cheesy. i still prefer the previous stroke of genius,

"WE'VE GOT FLOOR,
YOU'VE GOT BALL.?"

hahahahaa. credits to dear roch, i believe.

anyway.! hugged msLin, again, we're suddenly like best friends altogether just because i'm done being her student.! hahaa. strings of thoughts, exchanges of ideas and future team plans- im suddenly drawn back again to all the excitement of being capt. hee.

ending all the suddenlys, here's stg not sudden. i was entertained by dear starsky and raj while my girls were fully engrossed by coach. hahahaa.

here's stg i had promised them to blog about.
if you were one of my gorgeous girls, i bet you'd rmb VIVIDly how quick-feet works. fun ey.? HAHA. anyway, coach made a few alterations and the girls understood it fully- the freshies at least.

first trg, segregation btw J1s and J2s were inevitable- in the quick-feet line you can distinctively differentiate the green-ies and blue-ies on each half of the court. anyway, after a demo by dear Atassha(a J2.!), coach blew the whistle, and sent the J2s sprinting up to half-court before quick-feeting.

that's how quick-feet works, rite.?

for my batch at least.
the J1s were quick-feeting on the spot. and that's exactly what coach had asked to do.!

hahahahahaa. for once, the seniors looked lost.!

i told Aza (current Ms.Capt) that her new team is retarded- and she was persistent that it came from their grandparents. MsLin agreed. hmphs. hahahaa.

many manyyy bloopers filled the court today- but well. im trying to summarise here, rmb.?

OUWH. i told MsLin that i had contemplated on calling the girls for a fb reunion, beforeee the A's release- and she got all excited, squeezing for details. eventually, it's confirmed since she did the liberty of booking the court and store room keys for us, that very second.

so sweet.! hee.

Friday, 10am-12pm.
sufficient time for mass showering (ouwhh gd old times.) and clearing up and lunch and prayers, uhhuh. before the dreaded results at 2pm, eh.? haha.

fadh replied,
"i going. you going kan? wahaha. think we'll all be freakin out as we play. Lol."

i find that utterly amusing- cos i can already imagine my nervous girls passionately play fb, frantically chasing and whacking balls and having tiny nonsensical conversations amidst their depreciated-stamina breathings filled with little harmless spits of curses,

and most definitely, laughing out hysterically. uhhuh.

OUWH. with dear Coach,
"... but you have 6mths after results..."
"nyahahahaa, i dont know..."
"nyahahahaa (mocking me), you still havent changed. always nyahahaa, i dont know."
"hahaa.! but it's only been 2-3mth.! hard to change that fast lah coach."
"ouwh yeah ah.? hahahaa."

and OUWH.!
i met MISS YAP AIXIN today.! HEE.!
accompanied dearest Aza to the G.O. to return the store room keys (i miss doing that btw.!) and passed the foyer where the Cheerleaders dominate. saw this little girl from the back, i was squinting to find any familiar features.! but failed, cos she turned around eventually after her friend (who knows im her friend) pointed to my direction. haha.

got quick updates. and a hug. happy HAPPY.! =)))

journey home was joyous, with dearest Aza, Atassha and Lela. ouwh, had Starsky 'stalking us frm in front' too. nonsense lah that guy.! hahahaa.

and yes, once again. i bought ice creams for the beloved family.! i think the ice-cream lady is just the sweetest thing, though she coaxed me into buying more of her icecreams. haha. she's full of smiles. =))

okay. what is it about keeping this entry summarised.? i saw my ex-GP tutor too.! i rmb him being the sweetest thing also, but was somehow made to be ignorant at that point of time- im such a disgrace. tsk tsk.

but i ought to believe i was forgiven, cos im sure he had seen me running on the tracks with my darlings girls. ouwhhh excuses, hee.

on the contrary. im quite looking forward to Friday. besides lovely floorball, get the results over with, ey.? still considering how my evening will be spent though. im afraid to make any plans, justtt in case i'd like to find the MRT tracks a solace.

HAHAHA. okay, not funny. im not a suicidal case, dont worry. =))

i feel like i've failed terribly in trying to summarise. and i've definitely not gone on hiatus.! cant even take my own words for it, how so to expect for friday then.? hahahaa.

i shall be happy, and thankful- regardless.

in case im too worn off for updates for the next week or so- do know i'l be well and alive.! hee.

ouwh, i still rmb the one thing that set me crying as soon as i set off from home when O's was released. dearest most beloved mummy hugging and daddy saying,
"whatever happens, dont cry. i'll do the crying for you..."

aww. and ironic eh.? hahahaa. i hope he dont make such remarks this time. surprisingly fragile, these emotions.

"always rmb, happiness is just a come-home away.!"

with this set of parents, what more can i ever ask for ey.
i love my life.!
and i thank God every single day for it.

syukur alhamdulillah. =)))

LOVE,
*MUNIRAH.

* ps: i love you.

okay,

quick updates before i contemplate gg on hiatus.

hahahaa.

last thursday, aye sprained her ankle badly (HAHA.) and asked me to accompany her to poly. instead, i spent the noon with my mummy and musa to foot some bills. who expected footing bills could be sucha blissful trip.! hee.

last fri, went to Yuying Sec to teach 1.5hrs of Conversational Malay to a Sec1 technical class. ouwhh the horror.! i had prayed for time to fly just ten minutes after class began.! turns out, i could manage such a situation. well, thank god. i shall still be motivated abt being a teacher.! hee.

lesson for the day;
"awak suka warna apa?"
"saya suka warna _____."

and a list of colours in malay. imagine how they had struggled saying 'U-NGU'. haha.! and one cheeky boy had answered,

"saya suka warna TAIK. hahaha.! taik.! taik.!"
(hopping around class exclaiming, TAIK.)

so the rest of the 16 students went chanting "taik, taik" and inexorably forming many other sentences they've been taught, with "taik" in place, for the next 10mins or so. hahahaa.

it was a satisfying experience, i must say. =)

and long bus rides get me dizzy. boink boink. (okay, random.)

met Fadh for hershey's pie later that day.! superrr spontaneous. fun funn, cos we fidget with the toys at Popular after that. haha.! ouwh, a junior from AI whom two years ago, i used to find very attractive (despite him being 2yrs younger, i noe, gross.) had tegur-ed me while at LJS.

well. at least ALL my girlfriends think he's cute too, so im not as gross afterall ey.? its just a compliment- which i ought to teach him to reply with,
"alhamdulillah syukur, segala puji bagi Allah."

hahahaa.

after that short date with fadh baby, i crashed aye babe.! partly cos i still felt bad for ignoring a sick friend's request, so i got her a whole pack of Oreo.! hahahaa.! well, i got my longgg-awaited book borrowed from her too.

PS: i love you.

gorgeous book please.! =)))

and because of her, i visited the library with darling Musa on Monday. hahahaa. visited Popular too, an errand for dear Abg Dir.

alright. that's about it. i guess. haha.

i've a feeling i wont be gg on hiatus afterall. cos im in too happy a mood. hah.!

for all it's worth,
syukur alhamdulillah.! =)))

LOVE,
*MUNIRAH.!

* PS: I Love You...

let's start with an elating update-
i slept yesty with a double cheeseburger and an apple pie fresh in my tummy, haha.!

okay, aside the random opening.

i had accompanied my beloved parents and an aunt (with the ever-so-busybody harun tagged) to a relative's house whom i vividly rmb visiting only for raya two years ago. it was after marghrib. a granduncle by status from daddy's lineage or rather a great-granduncle from mummy's, had well, passed on- to put it simply.

it was not to be a cheery occasion, yet the sight of proverbial faces of distant relatives was contenting after the rudimentary recital of prayers. there was a comforting, calming vibe to such an occasion, though i should think such a statement can possibly be made only by someone in my position- just another distant relative.

i appreciated the chants of surah yaasin in unison, though i only get such encounters at funerals which is altogether a depressing drape to be appreciated about. after which, there were tiring silent moments where i had forbid myself from directing any silly questions or inane remarks to my dear mother (whom i assume is immersed in greater sentiments than myself).

i spent the rest of the time observing humans i'm supposedly related with, having conversation in my own mind (okay, that sounded insane.) about where I had last seen them, how they are/could be related to me, if they're older/younger than myself, ...

and especially how they dressed for a funeral, haha.

i shall leave those thoughts unelaborated here. =)

anyway. i had tried to remain composed though the sight of others weeping is inadvertently a heartrending scene. we left soon enough, when my aunt had been satisfied with her musing of the old man- one who used to always taunt my daddy and herself every raya visits for not tending to their parent's grave. haha.

and so from woodlands, with specks of lighthearted conversation, we headed east to send my dear aunt safely back to the comfort of her home where everyone is well and alive. we made a pitstop to Macs before the drive back up north for ice creams- happy food, you know.?

the last time i recall feeling emotionally-drained from a similar episode, well, i was only a trifling nine-year-old bereaving over the loss of a childhood companion- which lasted merely for a night. i was already back to being merry during the bus ride home from the cemetery thanks to being surrounded by the lovely cousins. that's how puerile primary 3 kids are, now i realize.

though I have had countless more tearful nights for the ensuing years in reminiscent of that darling family, i reckon forlorn days were far more austere for my dearest most beloved parents.

i guess that was a chapter that had in a majestic way affected my years and made myself, me. not entirely about losing a loved one- but about how life goes on after such an ordeal, and the fighting spirit expected for the ones still living.

i guess the many astounding lessons about life that i have learnt to appreciate were largely delivered by my parents. how much living another day is a blessing in itself, regardless the events and emotions tagging it.

and at the end of the day, all you need is to be thankful for the zillion little pretty moments that you've been showered with in your imperfect life.

it's alright to cry every once in a while, but face every new ordeal with All Smiles.

because then, you'll love your life- just like I do.

Syukur alhamdulillah,
Segala puji bagi Allah. =)))

LOVE,
*MUNIRAH.

PS: If I were to write myself a book, this shall be a chapter I dread writing yet am compelled to. it'll be dedicated to my beloved parents- yet the chapter torn off when given to them to read. hahahaa.

PPS: why this entry all so suddenly.? i’ll blame aye for giving me that book to read lah.! HAH.

PPPS: and to emotionally prepare myself for the supposedly eventful week ahead. haha.! yes yes, all smiles now. =))
